The Power of the Work
Where do I start?
When I first began working with Jessica two years ago, I was a 19-year-old girl who felt angry at the world. My childhood was shaped by abuse, poverty, and anxiety, leaving me frustrated with the environment around me. My perspective on society was clouded by the toxic relationships that surrounded me during my adolescence.
I initially started as Jessica’s marketing intern, spending hours learning about the world of life coaching. Through that experience, I began to understand its true power.
To me, life coaching is a journey of looking inward at how we were taught to see and experience life. It offers the chance to break free from limiting beliefs and embrace a more authentic, open, and abundant way of living. It is an empowering and expansive experience that never truly ends. As people, we are always evolving and encountering new experiences, challenges, and opportunities to shift our perspectives.
Not long after we started working together, Jessica offered to take me on as a client. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the impact has been incredible. I have grown into a grateful, confident woman who is no longer bound by the traumas of my past. Life now feels vibrant and full of possibilities. I recognize and appreciate my blessings in a way I never could before.
Life is constantly evolving, and I continue to find myself in unfamiliar situations that teach me more about who I am. For example, I am currently writing this article in a coffee shop in Italy, thousands of miles from home. The transition from Minnesota to Milan was challenging, but with Jessica’s support and the tools I have gained through life coaching, my mindset has completely shifted. I feel more inspired than ever.
Even before she became a life coach, Jessica understood the power of this work. This is what she shared with me about what coaching means to her:
“Coaching changed the trajectory of my life. I wanted more. I wanted to experience more and have more than what I had seen growing up. I was different from anyone in my family. I was the first to go to college and the first woman to have and hold a job that fully supported me.
When I started working with a life coach at 30 years old, I immediately resonated with what he shared. Every session elevated my consciousness and expanded my heart. He helped me recognize the untruths I had been believing and the ways I had been holding myself back. When I reached a crossroads, I hired another coach and continued growing exponentially. When that experience had given me everything it could, I hired another coach.
These coaches did not just guide me. They taught me how to be the kind of student who could fully receive the benefits of coaching. To truly transform, I had to be all in. When you are working with someone to change your perspective, clinging to old ways of thinking makes it difficult to see progress.
For most of my life, I struggled with love and money. Coaching is what allowed me to move from one transformation to the next. The relationship between coach and client is extraordinary. Even with the coaches I no longer work with, I still feel their support and hear their voices guiding me. Every one of them has helped me become the best coach, mother, woman, daughter, and ex-wife I can be. Not for appearances, but for my own experiences.”
There are no limitations for who benefits from life coaching - if you are open to the process, you will experience a transformation. This story is not just mine or Jessica’s to tell, but also from all of her other clients. Here are what other clients of Jessica’s have to say about this incredible process:
“Addressing the roots of my fears alongside Jessica was liberating and empowering. Beginning as jobless, timid, and riddled with fear, I transformed through Jessica's mindset shifts, becoming a liberated CEO with time for travel and an enriching role, understanding that the universe reciprocates energy. Our choices shape the energy we emanate.”
“Under Jessica's mentorship, I felt both challenged and upheld, finally liberated from others' perceptions that had previously confined me. To those uncertain, I assert that Jessica meets you at the crossroads of your aspirations, contingent on your readiness for inner transformation.”
“Honestly, I've never benefited more from any other professional exchange of ideas and approaches than with Jessica. She helped facilitate the love and acceptance of self that has resulted in lasting changes felt by anyone that knows me well. I finally feel at home in myself.”
“I have had the honor to work with Jessica for over a year now. I reached out to her when the light at the end of my tunnel seemed non existent. I was not okay with where a part of my life was and it wasn't moving. I went all in with her because I knew something needed to shift. Fast forward to the present moment, I am living heaven on earth in pure bliss! Unexpected things have occurred in my life and Jessica has, and continues to, support me through each moment challenging me when necessary, guiding me in belief, love and strength for me to authentically unfold all that I am, personally and professionally. Working with Jessica has been the best decision I ever made for myself and because of this, my family too!”
So let my experience, Jessica’s journey, and the testimonials of her clients be a testament to the incredible impact of life coaching. It is a transformative experience for anyone ready to grow, and an investment in yourself and your future.
